About Bonnie CLAC

Bonnie CLAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and was started in 2001 by Robert Chambers and Leo Hamill, who at the time were working in sales for a large local auto dealer.

Frustrated by the high interest rates so many of their customers were paying, they saw a clear need for an organization to act as an advocate for car buyers; in short, to make buying a car simpler and more affordable for people from all walks of life.

Bonnie CLAC helps clients build creditworthiness, and if necessary, provides temporary transportation if they need time in our program to qualify for a new car loan. We negotiate with the dealers, so that our clients don't have to. We use our expertise to help our clients get a fair deal and make the best possible transportation choices for their individual circumstances. Some of our clients see us as a way to save time and hassle; for others, working with us provides a firm financial footing that will benefit them for years to come.
